The Constitution is the highest authority and prerequisite for effective coordination in River.

It starts with the basics and guides how we coordinate and collaborate towards the same aims. The ideas are mostly sourced from *Sociocracy 3.0, Reinventing Organizations* and our own evolutionary experience.

The Constitution is divided into three chapters: The Foundation, The Bedrock, and The Patterns.
